Exam 5: The "Final"

Welcome to the Final Exam

This is your final summative assessment for this course. This exam will assess your understanding of the content and concepts of the entire course (cumulative) focusing primarily on the course objectives and learning outcomes. Because this final exam is summative, it is considered high-stakes and therefore, will count significantly towards your final grade. 

This exam must be completed by the end of the course or a score of zero (0) will be recorded. 

This exam may be comprised of multiple-choice, drop-down, matching, fill-n-the blank, mathematical, and essay-type questions. Due to these different types of questions, not every question will be worth the same amount of points. 

Rules for this Exam

1) This exam is not proctored. You do not need to go to a testing center nor will you be using a proctoring app to complete this exam. 

2) You will have a 90-minute (1.5 hour) time limit to complete the exam. Once you reach the two-hour time limit, the exam will automatically submit and your grade is calculated from the number of correct answers from the total number of questions (including those not completed). The established time limit is used as the proctoring tool to prevent academic dishonesty. 

3) The exam must be completed in one sitting. Once you begin the exam, the clock will start and you must complete the exam in the allotted time. No modifications will be made to this policy. In other words, if you "accidentally" click Take the Quiz...you are taking it and that grade will count. 

4) Unlike the Unit Exams, you will have only one (1) attempt at this exam. This exam is designed to assess your meeting of the course outcomes and therefore, to obtain an accurate assessment of your meeting of the course outcomes, only one attempt will be provided. 

5) No late policy applies to this exam. If the exam is not completed by 11:59 pm on the last day of the course, a zero (0) score will be assigned.  

6) Answers to this exam will not be provided until after the due date to reduce the possibilities of academic dishonesty.
